1. Nile River.
6,650 km (4132) miles, Nile River located in north east of africa is the chief source of water in egypt and sudan. Its water resources are shared by 11 countries including Tanzania, Kenya, Egypt
and Sudan. It is the longest river of the world. The Nile river is an international River which Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya and more countries have complained about the domination of Egypt on the Nile waters. To promote peaceful cooperation among these countries the Nile River Basin initiative was created. The Nile River has two major tributary rivers, the White Nile and the Blue Nile. The White Nile is the primary source of the Nile River and the Blue Nile is the secondary source of the Nile River. Most of the historical sites of ancient Egypt are located along the banks of the Nile river including luxor at swan, the source of the Nile which was a mystery for many centuries.
